@Stueymac I wouldn’t use TouchPal on a Pulse Mini, just default to Android keyboard. I don’t think TouchPal on Pulse Mini is very usable with a smaller screen.

I have this same problem on a Pulse Mini, unfortunately though when I try to get to:
Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Touchpal
It just crashes out and goes back to the manage applications screen so I can never get to the clear data options.
Any ideas anyone? Other than a factory reset?

Many thanks! Seems like clearing the app data is the problem for most things; it also sorted out the ‘unsuccessful download’ problem with the market app.

Hasn’t fixed it for me. Plus the Android keyboard mode has disappeared. I have to say, this phone is the biggest pile of junk I’ve ever bought.

Fantastic. I’ve already sent back 2 Pulse phones with this exact problem – finally I know how to sort it. Bummer it happens in the first place, but otherwise it’s a good phone – so thanks for the help!
