Terra Novum’s EZ GPO is used to centrally manage power management settings on Windows client workstations using Group Policy Objects under Active Directory using Group Policy as well as using eDirectory/NDS using Zenworks.
Recently I was tasked with an address book migration from a Microsoft Outlook Express 5 client running on OS9 into an Address Book application on Mac OSX 10.3 “Panther”. Needless to say, it wasn’t a straightforward task.
Outlook Express 5 on OS9 exports the contact details in a tab delimited format, which seems to be the only format. Apple’s Address Book in Panther supports only LDIF and vCard imports. There are several ways of doing that. Read more
Imendio, the guys behind the Planner project, are working on a Quicksilver-like launch application for Linux called GNOME Launch Box.

As it has been promised during WWDC 2007, Safari 3 enters its public Beta, with a Windows version.
Apparently, judging by HTML and JavaScript benchmarks based on VeriTest’s iBench Version 5.0 using default settings, it beats even Opera in JavaScript rendering.
